Aspiring Morning Person

Yesterday was productive. It all started when I actually fully unpacked my suitcase and hung up all my clothes on these terrible British hangers. Then, I went to the gym. I also joined the Jericho Singers and loved rehearsing again with a choir of The High Church of England. I also began writing creatively last night. Big news: I think I started writing a book. It starts in media res and I have no idea where it’s going or even what genre it is.

This morning, I woke up at 7 AM.  I suppose I’m slow to transition… It only took 15 days.

I rode the bus to Keble’s breakfast & officially joined the Middle Common Room (the social club for Kebles graduate students) No joke, last night I legitimately prayed, “Lord, please make me a morning person.” I am asking God to show me how to be a woman of discipline, order and routine. I was even impressed by my performance on the weight machines yesterday! I’m pretty sure because I worked out, I slept better:)

So this is how the other half lives
